-If it's not one thing its another...ATIVAN to the rescue???

My bottle says: three times a day for stress. I Googled the side effects and WOWIES! I scored another high grade!!!

My medical assessment sheet for severe depression scored 57 on 60 in December and was given a prescription for Ativan, I'm almost out of it and went shopping for reasons to reconsider going for more. My Ativan score sheet for "severe or bothersome" side effects: 23 out of 28!!!

This is a copy and paste sheet from Google: Ativan - Uses, Side Effects, Interactions - Drug Factsheets - C-Health

Contact your doctor if you experience these side effects and they are severe or bothersome. Your pharmacist may be able to advise you on managing side effects.
  • clumsiness or unsteadiness
  • dizziness or lightheadedness
  • drowsiness
  • slurred speech
Although most of the side effects listed below don't happen very often, they could lead to serious problems if you do not seek medical attention.
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:
  • abnormal thinking (disorientation, delusions, or loss of sense of reality)
  • anxiety
  • behavioural changes (e.g., aggressiveness, angry outburst)
  • blurred vision or other changes in vision
  • changes in appetite
  • changes in sexual desire or ability
  • constipation
  • diarrhea
  • dry mouth
  • false sense of well-being
  • fast, irregular heartbeat

Soo, if it helps me cope, and things seem to be getting worse? And I have no other options at this point because consulting a doctor is another three weeks away?
The antidepressants are a whole different entity to deal with on its own. What would YOU DO?

Play the Russian roulette game of meds?

Or run away to the cabin and live like a hermit!!??

  • headache
  • increased watering of mouth

  • unusual tiredness or weakness
  • yellow eyes or skin
